Job Overview: Health Information Partners is looking for a skilled and experienced Inpatient Coder to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Assigning accurate medical codes for inpatient records based on MS-DRG and APR-DRG guidelines.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to maintain coding quality.
Utilizing EPIC software to perform coding tasks efficiently (preferred experience).
Meeting coding deadlines and contributing to the team’s overall success.
Required Qualifications:
CCS credential required.
At least 3 years of recent inpatient coding experience.
Familiarity with EPIC preferred, though not mandatory.
Availability for at least 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
