Health Information Partners (HIP) is seeking an experienced and credentialed Part-Time Diagnostic Radiology Coder to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented coding professional looking for a consistent, part-time opportunity with a high-volume client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately code high volumes of diagnostic radiology encounters
- Ensure documentation supports all codes submitted
- Maintain productivity and quality standards in a remote environment
Required Qualifications:
- CPC certification (AAPC required)
- Minimum of 3 years of diagnostic radiology coding experience
- EPIC system experience is required
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and applicable coding guidelines
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage daily workload independently
Schedule & Workload:
- 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday (20 hours/week), preferably worked toward the earlier hours of the day
- Large, consistent volume of radiology cases
- Position could turn PRN once volume is brought down
